What are metallic bubble mailers?
They are padded envelopes with a metallic foil outer bonded to an air-bubble lining. The foil gives a glossy premium look, and the construction is stiffer and tougher than a standard bubble mailer.
What colours do you have?
We stock 13 finishes: Gold, Aurora Gold, Rose Gold, Dawn Rose Gold, Silver, Laser (holographic), Glossy Black, Matte Black, Pink, Purple, Red, Green and Royal Blue. Not every finish comes in every size; see the finish cards above.
What sizes are available?
#000 (130 x 130mm), #00 (100 x 180mm), #01 (160 x 230mm), #02 (210 x 290mm) and #05 (260 x 380mm), all internal sizes. Choose a size about 10mm larger than your item, plus extra for thickness.
What is the Laser finish?
Laser is our holographic finish. It reflects a rainbow of colours as the light changes, which suits beauty, fashion and gift brands.
Are metallic bubble mailers waterproof?
They are water-resistant. The foil outer and self-seal closure protect contents from light rain and moisture in transit.
Can I stick shipping labels on them?
Yes. Shipping labels and stamps stick well to the smooth foil surface. Our direct thermal labels work well for courier labels.
Do you have larger packs or a plastic-free option?
Most finishes come in packs from 25 or 50 up to 320 or 520 mailers, and larger packs cost less per mailer. For a plastic-free alternative, see our honeycomb paper padded mailers.
