Card envelopes & tough bags in 300gsm white board
Our card envelopes, also known as tough bags or cardboard envelopes, are made from stiff 300gsm white board with a self-seal strip. They keep documents, prints, clothing and other flat or soft products neat and flat, without the bulk of a box. Choose from DL, DLX, C5 envelopes, size 02, A4 envelopes and B4, in packs of 100 or wholesale cartons of up to 12,000.

Paper sizes for reference: A5 = 148 x 210mm, A4 = 210 x 297mm, B4 = 250 x 353mm. Card envelopes are stiffer than paper but are not crush-proof; for photos and artwork use a rigid mailer.

What size are C5 envelopes?
Our C5 card envelope (size 01) is 160 x 240mm. It takes A5 sheets flat or an A4 sheet folded once.
Which card envelope fits A4 without folding?
The A4 card envelope (235 x 325mm) holds A4 flat. For thicker A4 bundles, the B4 (255 x 355mm) gives more room.
What is a tough bag?
“Tough bag” is another name for a card envelope: an envelope made from heavy board instead of paper. Ours are 300gsm, with lighter 250gsm options.
Is a card envelope the same as a rigid mailer?
No. Card envelopes are stiff but still bend. A 700gsm rigid mailer or eFlute corrugated envelope resists bending much better.
Can I post card envelopes as a letter?
Possibly, depending on size, thickness and weight. Check Australia Post’s current letter limits before you post.
Do you sell card envelopes in bulk?
Yes. Every 300gsm size has a wholesale carton, from 2,400 (A4) to 12,000 (B4).
