Poly mailer FAQs
What size poly mailer do I need?
Lay your folded item flat and add about 30 to 50mm to the width and length, so the satchel closes without stretching. #02 (255 x 330mm) suits a folded t-shirt, #03 (310 x 405mm) jeans or a hoodie, and #04 (350 x 480mm) a jacket or a few items together. Thicker items need extra room.
How thick are your poly mailers?
Our standard white, black and pink mailers use 60 micron polyethylene film with an anti-tear compound.
Can people see what is inside?
No. The mailers have a dark inner layer that makes them opaque, so contents stay private.
Are poly mailers waterproof?
The polyethylene film resists moisture and rain during transit. For valuable or water-sensitive items, add an inner zip lock bag.
Poly mailer or box?
Use a poly mailer for clothing and non-fragile soft goods: it is lighter and cheaper to post. Use a mailing box for fragile, rigid or presentation-focused items, or a bubble mailer for small items that need padding.
Do you have eco-friendly mailers?
Yes. Our compostable mailers (labelled compostable) are a plant-based alternative to standard poly, and paper courier bags are plastic-free.
Can I get custom printed poly mailers?
Yes. Custom printing is available on our poly mailer range. Contact us with your size, quantity and artwork for a quote.
Do you offer bulk pricing?
