Direct thermal label printers for shipping labels
Print courier and postage labels without ink or toner. A direct thermal label printer uses heat to print on thermal labels, so the only consumable is the label roll. Our USB shipping label printers print 4 x 6 inch (100 x 150mm) labels at up to 152mm a second, and the HotLabel models support Windows and Mac. They print labels from Australia Post, Sendle, eBay, Shopify, Amazon and other shipping platforms. Pair your thermal label printer with our direct thermal labels.

Thermal label printer FAQs
What is a direct thermal label printer?
A printer that prints by heating thermal labels. It needs no ink, toner or ribbon; the labels themselves change colour where heated.
Which labels do I need?
Direct thermal labels. For courier and Australia Post labels, the common size is 100 x 150mm (4 x 6 inch). See our thermal shipping labels.
Do these printers work with Australia Post and Sendle?
Yes. They print shipping labels from Australia Post, Sendle, eBay, Shopify, Amazon and other platforms that output 4 x 6 inch labels.
Do they work with a Mac?
The HotLabel A300 and M9HD support Windows and Mac, and the M9HD also works with Chromebook. Check each product page for supported systems.
What is the difference between 203 and 300 dpi?
Dots per inch. 300 dpi prints finer detail, which helps with small text and dense barcodes; 203 dpi is standard for most shipping labels.
