The detail provided on the website does not say how many records it will carry. I bought it to send primarily single records. It is totally unsuitable for a single record and in order to do so requires additional packing to be included, which in turn increases the shipping weight. It is more suited to 3 to 5 records. I have now had to purchase separately, a rigid mailer which is much more expensive, put will protect a single 12" record without it floating around loose inside
