What is a poly bubble mailer?
A padded envelope with a plastic (polyethylene) outer and an air-bubble lining. It is lighter than a box, waterproof and tear-resistant, and seals with a peel-and-seal strip.
What is the difference between poly and metallic bubble mailers?
Both have a bubble lining. Poly mailers have a plastic film outer and are our everyday option. Metallic mailers have a foil outer that is stiffer and tougher, with a glossy premium finish for gifts, beauty and fashion brands.
What size bubble mailer do I need?
Choose an inside size about 10mm bigger than your item in width and length, plus extra for thickness. G1 / #01 (160 x 230mm) suits C5 and A5 items, G2 (215 x 280mm) or metallic #02 (210 x 290mm) books and cosmetics, and G4 (235 x 350mm) A4 items.
Are poly bubble mailers recyclable?
Our poly bubble mailers are made with 30–40% post-consumer recycled plastic and are LDPE #4, recyclable where soft plastics are accepted. Check your local council or store drop-off options. For a plastic-free choice, see honeycomb paper mailers.
Are bubble mailers waterproof?
Poly bubble mailers have a waterproof plastic outer and metallic mailers are water-resistant, so both protect contents from rain in transit.
Do black bubble mailers hide the contents?
Yes. Our black poly bubble mailers are fully opaque, so contents stay private.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?
