They are made from compostable film designed to break down after use, instead of conventional polyethylene. They look and seal like a standard courier satchel.
How do I dispose of a compostable satchel?
Follow your local composting guidance. Remove any plastic shipping label first. Our paper courier bags can go in household paper recycling instead.
Are compostable mailers as strong as poly mailers?
They are designed for everyday courier handling of clothing and soft goods. For heavy or sharp items, choose a poly mailer or a mailing box.

What size compostable mailer do I need?

Are compostable mailers the same as biodegradable mailing bags?
Not quite. "Compostable" means the material is designed to break down in composting conditions, while "biodegradable" has no set timeframe. Look for the compostable claim when comparing eco mailers.
